When people think of Jordan, they instantly think of Petra. It’s not hard to understand why. The ancient archaeological site dates back to 300 B.C. and the Rose City is an amazing piece of history. 

 

However, Jordan has so much more to offer than just Petra. 

 

In my opinion, Jordan is one of the best places for mature travellers who wish to combine history, adventure and culture in one trip!
